*Please Note*
Many Internet Service Providers (ISPs) have recently begun blocking port 25. If outbound SMTP port 25 does not work for you, try using server port 2525 as an outgoing server.
Iphone:
This tutorial will take you through the step by step process of setting up email with your iphone.
1. On your iphone home screen tap the settings icon
2. Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Tap on Add Account
4. Tap on Other
5. Enter this information:
- Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the "From" field of your outgoing messages.
- Email Address: Enter your full mail address (e.g., john@example.com).
- Password: Enter your password.
- Enter in a description of this account
- Tap Save
- Tap POP tab
6. Tap Incoming Mail Server
7. Enter this information:
- For your Incoming mail server (POP3): type "mail" followed by your domain name (e.g. mail.example.com)
- User Name: Enter your full email address
- Password: Enter your password
- Scroll down and enter this information
- For your Outgoing mail server (SMTP): type "mail." followed by your domain name (e.g. mail.example.com)
- User Name: Enter your full email address
- Password: Enter your password
8. Tap Save
9. If a screen comes up that says “Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL: Tap No
10. Tap Save
11. Tap Save
12. Tap on your email account
13. Tap on SMTP
14. Tap on the Primary Server box
15. Tap on the button with the Use SSL to turn it off
16. Tap on the server port and Change your outgoing server setting to 2525 or 587
17. Tap the SMTP tab in the upper left to go back
18. Tap the name you have given the account tab in the upper left to go back
19. Tap the advanced box
20. Tap on the button with the Use SSL to turn it off
21. Make sure the Server Port is 110, if not please enter it
22. Tap the name you have given the account tab in the upper left to go back
23. Tap the mail tab in the upper left corner to go back to you mail settings
24. Push the home button to finish
